"Ave verum corpus" is a motet composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1791. It is a setting of the Fourteenth Century Eucharistic hymn, "Ave verum corpus."  Mozart wrote it to be played at the Feast of Corpus Christi at St. Stephan Parish in Baden bei Wien, a small resort town outside of Vienna.
